our history




Valerio's City Bakery is a family owned and operated business. In 1979, we established our first bakery in National City, California. Valerio's City Bakery instantly became highly recognized within the community through the introduction of our Filipino/trademark bread, known as "Pan de Sal." Delivered hot and straight out of the oven, customers quickly grew accustomed to ordering our dinner rolls. Our customers also enjoyed our other bread and pastries such as Ensaymada, Siopao, Empanada, and others just to name a few.

Today, Valerio's City Bakery has expanded to several locations up and down California. Some of our locations include a full service restaurant capable for customers to dine-in or take-out. Our cooks serve authentic Filipino entrees that deliver an authentic homestyle taste.

With the growing success of our bakery, we plan to have our products accessible for customers to purchase over the internet in the near future. With this in mind, people across the United States and in other countries will be able to have our fine fresh bread delivered/shipped to their residence or business.
